Earnin Helps Drive 2020 Census Engagement

Every ten years, the United States conducts a census to determine the amount of federal funding your community receives. Data from the 2020 Census will be used to ensure public services and funding for schools, hospitals, and fire departments, plan new homes and businesses and improve neighborhoods, and determine how many seats your state is allocated in the House of Representatives.1

By responding to the census, you’re helping your community get its fair share of the more than $675 billion per year in federal funds spent on schools, hospitals, roads, public works, and other vital programs.

To help drive census engagement, we’ve partnered with the National League of Cities, an advocacy organization that serves the interests of over 19,000 cities, towns, and villages in the US, representing more than 200 million people. Through this partnership, our goal is to encourage community members to fill out their census surveys to unlock federal funding for their community.

It’s only 10 questions, takes 10 minutes, and will impact the next 10 years of federal funding and representation. Your community's needs deserve to be heard. That starts with getting counted in the 2020 Census by October 31st!
